Itinerary for Photography WorkshopItinerary: September 6 Optional arrival day for photographers who want to arrive early and get sorted away. September 7 Airport or train station pickups, get settled into your accommodations and get registered. You will be based at Castello di MODANELLA, in Tuscany. September 7 Evening Supper, meet Mark, models and fellow photographers. You can see some of the session locations. It's an orientation night, we will be talking about the locations, models, etc. Going over gear, any questions. September 8 to September 11 Morning and afternoon photography sessions. Sessions will be in the 1,000 year old castle base with its pool and grounds. We will be doing photography inside and out. We will also be traveling to different locations for diversity. Mid day instructor presentations. There will be late afternoon shoots with the multi-course Italian dinners each evening. September 12 Sessions and wrap up. September 13 - Head Home Day Flights out for those going home, or time to be tourist. More sunshine for those taking us up on the extended vacation option. Details on the Mid Day InstructionYour workshop has two purposes - three, actually, if you take advantage of the option of getting published in a hard cover book.The first is obvious: being able to photograph amazing models in multiple breathtaking exotic locations, under the guiding hand of a world-class nude model instructor, Mark Laurie. The second is education - knowledge that will vault you ahead of the pack! Mark will share with you experience and insight that he has accumulated over nearly three decades in the profession. Mark will be “an open book” for you, telling you stuff you might not even have thought of to ask. So you will be learning: -Different lighting styles -How do develop your personal style -How to approach and solve difficult lighting situations -Effective location posing and lighting techniques -How to approach and pose inexperienced models -How to deal with multiple light sources, and also how to create them -Of course, posing for the nude and glamour -Solving problematic light issues -The whole arena of image production, Photoshop techniques, and output insights You will be introduced to the whole language of posing models. Everyone will also have a chance for a 15 minute critique of their work - either what they shot at the course, or material they brought along.
